Some favourite One Piece characters, floating.
Vi said I should draw Smoker and Tashigi, and I tried to come up with some kind of awesome composition to do them justice (justice!!), but nothing came out. So I just drew them floating, and added Robin and Chopper to make it more worthwhile, ha ha.
I think I drew this when I was somewhere in the Skypiea arc. I liked Robin even before her backstory and Water 7, but the story with her and Saul is one of my favourites in all of One Piece and when she shouts I WANNA LIVE!!!!!! I cried like a tiny baby. I don’t know about the other three but I still like this drawing of Robin.
Also looking at that drawing of chopper, it’s amazing how much more stylized and cute he’s gotten since his first appearance… he was much harder to draw back then. I wonder where his top hat went?

Genzo from One Piece.
I started reading this again after about 7 years ha ha ha. As soon as this guy showed up I wanted to draw him. Not really a major character, but I thought he was a super cool guy.
But yeah I’ve been enjoying it. I’ve also been enjoying watercolor a lot. Surprisingly, it takes me less time and effort to work traditionally compared to digitally.
